UW-Whitewater 8, UW-Stout 1
WHITEWATER (October 16, 2021) –
Ellie Becker picked up UW-Stout's lone win and played a marathon match in the process as the Blue Devils were defeated by powerhouse UW-Whitewater, 8-1, Saturday.
Becker defeated the Warhawks' Zenia Barretto, losing the first set, 6-3, but coming back to take the second set, 6-2. Becker won the tie-breaker with a 10-7 decision at No. 3 singles.

Lauren Couves lost on a tie-breaker, winning the first set, 6-4, but losing the second set 6-1 and the tie-breaker 10-2.
Stout will close out the regular season Sunday, Oct. 17 with a pair of matches at UW-Oshkosh. The Blue Devils will take on the Titans at 9 a.m. in a conference match, then will meet Marian University at noon in a non-conference clash.
