Overwatch started their four-match winning streak last Monday with a 3-1 win over Missouri Baptist. This weekend, they picked up an easy win via forfeit over the United States Air Force Academy in tournament play, then defeated Dakota Wesleyan, 2-0, in another tournament match Sunday.
The Rocket League had a rough weekend, then ran into their toughest oppenent of the NACE season, falling ot the University of Missourt Mizzou Esports team, 3-0, the team's first NACE loss of the season.
"Mizzou is the best in their division for a reason," said Rocket League coach
Kyle Gabel.
Rocket League went 3-2 over the weekend in tournament play, but did get a meaure of revenge with a 2-0 win over Purdue-Fort Wayne, a team that had beaten Stout twice the previous weekend.
The Blue Devils lost 2-0 to Ohio State, then picked up a 2-0 win over Rochester Institute of Technology and a 2-1 win over Clemson Orange. The weekend ended with a 2-0 loss to Syracuse.
Rocket League is slated to play Cornell (Iowa) College, Monday, Oct. 18 and Overwatch is scheduled to play Indiana Tech, Thursday, Oct. 14 and Waldorf University, Monday, Oct. 18.
