UW-Whitewater 19, UW-Stout 0 (7 inn)
WHITEWATER (April 15, 2019) - Following two tight games in the series opener Saturday, it was a different story Monday as UW-Whitewater swept past UW-Stout in a pair of shortened games, 10-0 in eight innings and 19-0 in seven innings.
After Whitewater won a pair games, 11-9, 4-3, on Saturday, the Warhawks (16-6, 9-1 WIAC) breezed past the Blue Devils (10-9, 5-7 WIAC).
In the opener, the Warhawks (opened with a four-run first inning, then chipped away to the eight inning win with single runs in the third and fifth innings and two runs in each of the fourth and eighth innings. The Warhawks got 14 hits off four Blue Devil pitchers.
Jordan Wilson recorded two of Stout's five hits, going 2-for-4.

Jared Jarvensivu had Stout's other hits. Nate Schrader and Cal Aldridge each had three hits for Whitewater.
In the second game, the Warhawks scored at least one run in every inning, including five in the fourth, four in the fifth and six in the sixth. The Warhawks slugged out 19 hits, while Stout was held to four, with
Jack Hemsath getting two hits.
The Blue Devils will be at UW-La Crosse, Tuesday, April 16, then will be at UW-Oshkosh, April 19-20.
