MILWAUKEE (April 22, 2018) - UW-Stout is putting the wraps on the 2017-18 season with a pair of matches at the Milwaukee School of Engineering and North Park University Saturday and Sunday, finishing both matches on the short end of 8-1 scores. Stout played short at both singles and doubles over the weekend.
The Blue Devils, playing one position short in both singles and doubles, were downed by MSOE, 8-1, with newcomer
Abbey Ball getting the team's lone win a come-from-behind 4-6, 6-1, 10-2 win at No. 5 singles.
Kennedy Kleist was edged at No. 3 singles, dropping a 7-6 (6-4), 7-5, decision. Ball and Kleist teamed at No. 2 doubles, but were edged 8-6.
The Blue Devils finished their schedule in Chicago Sunday where
Gabe Kelch recorded the lone win for the Blue Devils, a 2-6, 6-3, 10-3 win, over North Park's Julie Vinllan.
