Diersen, Diedrich, Fabeck combine for 55 points

UW-River Falls 93, UW-Stout 65

RIVER FALLS (February 7, 2018) - Bailey Diersen, Kyncaide Diedrich and Amber Fabeck combined for 55 points as UW-Stout lost a 93-65 decision to UW-River Falls at Page Arena Wednesday.

Diersen led Stout (8-14, 0-11 WIAC) with 24 points, while Diedrich collected a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds and Fabeck contributed 10 points.

After playing to a 22-22 tie in the first period, the Falcons (15-7, 6-5 WIAC) outscored Stout 25-10 in the second period and took a 47-32 lead into halftime.

River Falls got a game-high 28 from Taylor Karge. Brynn Liljander pitched in 24 and Jaycie Gerding finished with 13.

The Blue Devils pulled down 46 rebounds to 43 for River Falls. Stout collected 24 offensive rebounds. The Falcons yanked down 31 defensive boards.

Stout will host UW-Stevens Point, Saturday, Feb. 10 at 3 p.m.
