UW-Stevens Point 77, UW-Stout 55
MENOMONIE (February 10, 2018) - UW-Stevens Point outscored UW-Stout 25-8 in the fourth quarter on their way to a 77-55 win over the Blue Devils Saturday at Johnson Fieldhouse.
The game was close throughout the first three quarters, featuring 10 tied scores and neither team holding more than a five point lead. The Pointers (12-11, 6-5 WIAC)Â started what would eventually become a 10-4 run in the final minute of the third period and through the first two minutes of the fourth quarter. The Pointers continued to roll up the points on their way to final 22 point advantage.

Carly Cerrato hit eight of her game high 18 points in the fourth quarter, going 3-of-3 from the floor in the period, hitting two 3-pointers. The Pointers had four players score in double digits. Taylor Barrett scored 14, Lexi Roland 13 and Mickey Roland 12

Amber Fabeck led Stout (7-16, 0-12 WIAC) with 12 points and
Bailey Diersen contributed 11.

Stout shot 20-of-60 (.333) from the floor, while the Pointers hit 29-of-55 (.527) from the floor. Stevens Point was 7-of-11 from 3-point range, while Stout was 1-of-13 from beyond the arc.
The Blue Devils will close out the home portion of their schedule Wednesday, Feb. 14 when they host UW-La Crosse at 7 p.m. for Senior Night. The Blue Devils will recognize seniors
Anna Brown and
Haley Seifert. Stout will finish the season Saturday, Feb. 17 at UW-Oshkosh.
