UW-River Falls 96, UW-Stout 68
RIVER FALLS (January 20, 2018) - Three starters scored in double figures for UW-Stout, but it was UW-River Falls that finished with the upper-hand as the Falcons defeated the Blue Devils, 96-68, Saturday at Page Arena.

Joe Duty scored 13 of his game-high 23 points in the first half, including the Blue Devils' (7-10, 1-5 WIAC) first five points of the game.
The Blue Devils, fresh off their first conference win earlier in the week, were outscored 42-29 in the first half as the Falcons (12-4, 3-3 WIAC) shot 58.3 percent from the floor, hitting 14 of 24 shots. River Falls stayed hot in the second half, finishing 56.4 percent (32-57) for the game.
The Falcons had four players in double figures, including Brennan Witt, who notched a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Alex Herink scored 12 points, Austin Heidecker 11 and Clay Seifert 10.
Isaac Elliott, the Blue Devils' leading scorer on the season, chalked up 16 points, shooting 50 percent, making 6 of 12 shots. He drained 4 of 5 3-pointers.
Sam Ortmann scored 11 points for the Blue Devils. Stout shot 21 of 53 (.396) from the floor.
Stout will host UW-La Crosse Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. to conclude the first round of conference play.
