UW-La Crosse 3, UW-Stout 0
LA CROSSE (September 30, 2017) - UW-Stout made several runs at their opponent in the second and third sets, but the Blue Devils were swept for the second straight outing by a WIAC opponent, this time falling 3-0 to UW-La Crosse Saturday.
The Eagles (12-4, 3-0 WIAC) downed the Blue Devils, 25-16, 25-22, 25-23. The Eagles controlled the first set from start to finish, but Stout held the lead for most of the second set until La Crosse caught up to tie the score at 21. then captured the three point lead.
Stout (5-12, 1-2 WIAC) trailed for all of the third set, falling behind 17-10 and 21-11 before making a run at the Eagles.
Ashley Pratt put down three kills and had a block assist, and
Carissa Hilgers served six times that that the Blue Devils turned into points and Stout got to as close as 24-23, but the took the win.

Pratt had seven kills for Stout, while
Emily Bialka and
Demi Ploor contribted five apiece. La Crosse's Stephanie Henk and Kathryn Maas each finished with 10 kills.
Stout returns to action Wednesday, Oct. 4 when they host Augsburg University in the annual Dig Pink contest.
