Trailing 6-0 after Edgewood scored three runs in both the second and third innings, the Eagles had runners on first and second with no outs. The Eagles batter attempted to move the runners with a bunt, but instead popped up to pitcher

Noah Brown to finish the play. The triple play was the fourth in Division III this season, according to D3baseball.com
Stout's only run of the game came in the eighth inning when

Sam Waters moved Emmer to second with a single. Following a strikeout, Emmer scored on a right field single by
Jordan Wilson. Wilson was 2-for-4 for the day.
The Blue Devils (3-10) managed seven hits, but stranded seven runners. The Eagles (7-2), who are off to their best start since 2004, punched out 12 hits, with three batters collecting two hits apiece.
