UW-River Falls 72, UW-Stout 63
RIVER FALLS (February 8, 2017) - UW-River Falls erased a UW-Stout halftime lead by outscoring the Blue Devils 24-8 in the third quarter and went on for a 72-63 win at Karges Center.
The Blue Devils (7-15, 3-8 WIAC) took an 11-point, 33-22, point lead into the locker room, but saw the lead evaporate with the Falcons' (7-15, 2-9 WIAC) outburst.
Stout had four players score in double figures, led by
Jenna Goldsmith and
Anna Brown who each scored 15 points.
Kyncaide Diedrich tossed in 14 points and
Bailey Diersen finished with 10 points.
The Falcons' Taylor Karge led all scores with 20 points. Hailey Rau contributed 12, Katie Messman 11 and Taylor Paulsrud 10.
Stout will be at UW-Stevens Point, Saturday, Feb. 11, then return home for their final home game of the season, Wednesday, Feb. 15 when they host UW-La Crosse.
