MENOMONIE (February 8, 2017) - UW-Stout stayed with seventh ranked UW-River Falls through the first half, but were overpowered in the second half to fall 92-51. The Blue Devils were led by John Lahti and John Keefe, who scored 11 and nine points. Keefe also grabbed four rebounds and dished four assists.

The Blue Devils kept the first half close, trading baskets and taking a 12-11 lead early after Adam Mackey's layup. But this would be the last time that Stout held the lead. The Blue Devils would find themselves down by nine at halftime, 32-23.

River Falls stepped on the gas to open the second half on a 14-0 run. Stout could not find a way back, and eventually fell.

The Falcons came into this game ranked the No. 7 overall team according to D3hoops.com Top 25.

Mackey saw more playing time, getting 18 minutes and a second half start for the Blue Devils. He scored two points and grabbed a rebound.

Keegan Dickson and Ringo Dau also saw playing time, scoring six points each.

The Falcons' Alex Herink scored a game high 17 points, and grabbed five rebounds.

Stout will be at home again this Saturday, Feb. 11, for a 3 p.m. tip against UW-Stevens Point.
