MENOMONIE (October 14, 2017) - UW-Stout scored two goals in just over a minute around the 85th minute to force what would eventually become a 2-2 tie with UW-Oshkosh Saturday at a wet, rainy Nelson Field.

The Titans (6-5-3, 2-0-2 WIAC) ran out to a 2-0 lead, getting a goal from Ashley Baalke in the 22nd minute and another from Alexis Brewer in the 55th minute.

The Blue Devils (4-5-4, 1-1-3 WIAC) finally got on the board in the 85th minute when, during a flurry of shots, Kaitlyn Hess picked up a bounce-back shot by Nikki Sedivy and buried the rebound.

Just over a minute later, the Blue Devils struck again. On a corner kick by Ryanne Millis, Haley Wentz tipped the ball into the lower corner in the 86th minute, and the senior scored her first collegiate goal to force overtime.

The overtime became Stout's four consecutive home game that went to overtime, and the game almost ended right at the end of the first overtime, but Oshkosh had a goal waved off as time expired.

Stout's Lynn Johnson finished the game with six saves, including three in the second overtime, while the Titans' Jessica Galason made eight stops, two in the first overtime and four in the second period as Stout was awarded six corner kicks after the halftime break.

Stout is scheduled to host Concordia-Moorhead, Sunday, Oct. 15 at 2 p.m.
