MENOMONIE (October 15, 2017) - UW-Stout tied a school record with, what else, a tied game as the Blue Devils and Concordia-Moorhead played to a scoreless draw Sunday at Nelson Field.

The Blue Devils recorded their fifth tied game of the season, matching the marks set in 2002 and 2005. This was the sixth overtime game of the season for Stout and their fifth tied game at home.

Stout (4-5-5) seemed to control the tempo of the game, outshooting the Cobbers (4-8-2) 13-7 overall and 8-3 on net. The Blue Devils had a huge advantage in corner kicks, booting 12 to Concordia's one.

Stout put three shots on goal in the first period, four in the second and one in the fourth. The Cobbers had a shot on net in each of the final three periods, including a shot in the box in the first overtime that Stout's Jessica Ingle headed away. Both teams had a shot on frame in the final stanza.

Maddy Reed made eight saves for the Cobbers and Lynn Johnson had two for Stout.

Stout will play three games this week, traveling to St. Mary's University, Tuesday, Oct. 17, returning home to host Macalester College, Wednesday, Oct. 18 and returning to conference play by traveling to UW-Platteville, Saturday, Oct. 21.
