OSHKOSH (October 13, 2017) - The rain forced UW-Stout and UW-Oshkosh inside, but not before Blue Devils' doubles team
Kennedy Kleist and
Gabe Kelch recorded Stout's lone win Friday.
Kleist and Kelch defeated the Titans' Lesley Kutnink and Ashlee Polena, 8-6, in a tight battle.
All three doubles battles were close. Lindsey Thisius and
Katie Kreibich lost 8-4 at No. 1 doubles and
Jenna Welke and
Annie Sandry were tipped 8-5 at No. 2 doubles.
Kreibich and Sandry each had close singles matches. Kreibich won her first set at No. 2 singles, 6-4, but then was pushed into the tiebreaker with a 6-1 loss. She dropped the tiebreaker 10-1. Sandry lost at No. 3 singles in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5.
Stout will close out the dual portion of the fall schedule Saturday, Oct. 14 at UW-Whitewater at 10 a.m.
