LA CROSSE (October 11, 2017) - UW-Stout had their six game unbeaten streak halted by UW-La Crosse as the Eagles shut out the Blue Devils, 4-0, Wednesday.
The nationally-ranked Eagles (11-1-2, 4-0-0 WIAC) scored two goals in the first 11 minutes of the game, then added two more in the last 15 minutes of the game. The Eagles out-shot Stout, 28-13, for the game and 20-7 in the second half. The loss was Stout's first conference loss. In the previous six games, Stout was 3-0-3.

Lynn Johnson finished the game with 10 saves. Stout (4-5-3, 1-1-2 WIAC) put four shots on net, one each by four different players.
The Eagles got goals from Kaitlyn Villars and Alex Cording in the first half and Maddie Granos and Hayley Hargroder in the second half.
The Blue Devils are scheduled to host UW-Oshkosh, Saturday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. and Concordia-Moorhead, Sunday, Oct. 15 at 2 p.m.
