MENOMONIE (April 14, 2016) - UW-Stout closed out the 2015-16 home season with a 9-0 loss to Saint Mary's University Thursday at the South Tennis Courts.
Katie Kreibich took her No. 3 opponent as far as she could in the first set before falling, 7-5. Megan Vandenburg took the second set, 6-1.
Linsey Thisius lost at No. 1 single to Laura Sonday, 6-3, 6-1.Â
Jenna Welke was downed at No. 4 singles, 6-3, 6-2 and
Katie Govin lost at No. 6 singles, 6-2, 6-3.
The No. 1 doubles team of Thisius and
Anna Lano lost, 8-4, as did the No. 3 doubles team of Kreibich and
Sutton Beck.
The Blue Devils will close out 2015-16 season when they play a pair of matches at Alverno College, Saturday, April 23.
