UW-Stout defeats Martin Luther College

MENOMONIE (April 10, 2016) The Blue Devils celebrated a victory against Martin Luther College, after ending with an overall score of 7-2. 
 
All double teams from Stout counted a winning match. Anna Lano and Linsey Thisius defeated Acacia Foss Rachel Riediger with 8-2. Both players won single matches as well, Lano (6-4, 6-2) and Thisius (7-5, 6-2).
 
Emma Pedersen and Katie Kreibich also counted an 8-2 in the doubles competition. As an individual, Kreibich took her match with a score of 6-2, 6-1.
 
Sutton Beck and Ellen Miller took the title in their doubles match against Elizabeth Broring and Morgan Shevey 8-6.
 
Katie Govin defeated Elizabeth Broring in her single match with 6-2, 6-0.
 
Stout hopes to continue their streak of success in their next home match against St. Mary's University on Thursday, April 14^th at 4:00pm.
