Stout offense can't get rolling, downed by Wooster

Box Score: Wooster 12, UW-Stout 2

FORT MEYERS FLA. (March 16, 2016) - Wooster's offense was too much for the Blue Devils as they fell in nine innings. The Fighting Scots put up 12 points, while Stout could only manage two. Austin Littmann and Noah Brown were the two Blue Devils to cross home plate.

It was a slow day for the Blue Devil offense. They could not manage a hit until the sixth inning when Josh Halling smacked a single. Brown scored after Ryan Connor put himself and first and Brown on third. In the seventh, Littman was driven in by Jon Krueger after a bases clearing triple.

Stout did show good discipline at the plate; they drew four walks on the game and were able to get on in the third via a Wooster error.

Stout will play in double-header action tomorrow as they take on John Hopkins University at 12 p.m. (ET) and Augustana College at 3 p.m. (ET).
