Riley Colvard (So, Centerville, Minn), then pulled their goalie but could not get the equalizer.
Etienne Roy (Jr, Saint-Henri, Quebec) took the loss, giving up all six goals before getting pulled after the final Northland goal. Roy was coming off a stellar performance the last time out, posting the Blue Devils first shutout of the season on Saturday over St. Olaf College.
But Roy gave up a pair of goals in the first period, allowing a goal by Jacob Jeske at 7:49 and a second at 8:54 by Lucas DeBenedet. The Blue Devils knotted the score before the first period horn sounded.
