Box Score Concordia University Wisconsin 6, UW-Stout 1MEQUON (January 22, 2016) - UW-Stout scored the first goal of the game, but Concordia University Wisconsin rolled off six unanswered goals to take a 6-1 win over the Blue Devils Friday.

Shayne McLaughlin (Jr, Eau Claire) opened the scoring in the game with a power play goal at 7:59, getting assists from
Justin Moody (Jr, Grand Forks, ND) and
Mathias Ahman (Fr, Harnasand, Sweden).
The Falcons used the power play to their advantage, rolling off two consecutive power plays as they began their offensive onslaught with two first period goals. A Falcon goal midway through the second period put Concordia up 3-1. The home team added another goal in the second. An even strength goal four minutes into the third period and a shorthanded goal with seven minutes remaining in the game ended the scoring.
Spencer Viele (Jr, Wildwood, Mo) got the start, but was chased after three goals, making 16 saves.
Chase Hollander (Jr, Random Lake) come on to finish the game, but also allowed three goals and recorded 13 saves. The Falcons Jack Romanuik had 25 saves.
The win was the first in seven tries for the Falcons over the Blue Devils. Stout's record fell to 9-6-4 overall, while Concordia improved to 9-6-2.
The game marked Stout's final non-conference contest of the season. Stout will be at UW-Eau Claire, Thursday, Jan. 28, then will be at UW-Superior, Friday, Jan. 29.
