WQOW TV-18 HighlightsMENOMONIE (October 3, 2015) - UW-Oshkosh tallied a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) record 829 yards of total offense in running over UW-Stout, 69-14, Saturday at Don & Nona Williams Stadium during the Blue Devils' annual homecoming event.

The Titans opened the scoring in big fashing when Sam Mentkowski scored on an 85-yard pass play at 11:04 in the first quarter.

Hank Kujak (Sr, Blair) drove the Blue Devils 47 yards in six plays, capping off the drive with a 13-yard scoring pass to
Brian Alvarez (Sr, Atwater, Calif) with just under three minutes left in the quarter.
The Titans (3-1, 1-0 WIAC) would go on to run off five consecutive TDs, rolling out to a 41-7 halftime lead. Stout scored to open the third period when Kujak found
Justin Guarnaccio (So, Libertyville, Ill) from 12-yards out, but the Titans went on to score four more TDs to finish the game.

The Titans rushed for 456 yards, with Dylan Hecker running off 124 yards and three TDs and Devon Linzmeyer adding 116 yards and a score.

Brett Kasper completed 22-of-29 passes for 350 yards and three TDs as the Titans tallied 373 yards in passing. Sam Mentkowski hauled in eight passes for 209 yards and two scores, while Craig Schommer scored twice on three receptions for 42 yards. Mentkowski's 85 yard TD was the second longest reception ever in Williams Stadium.
Kujak completed 18-of-29 passes for 217 yards and two scores. Guarnaccio had five catches for 62 yards and the score. Back-up quarterback
Jay Alston (Fr, Rochester, Minn) was the team's leading ground gainer with 23 yards. Alston completed two passes - his first passes as a Blue Devil - in seven attempts for 36 yards.
Kickoff returner
Isaac Tuttle (Fr, Glenwood City) returned four kickoffs for 115 yards, including a 48-yard return in the first quarter.
Clark Riedel (So, Waukesha) punted seven times for an average of 40.3 yards per boot, with three punts inside the 20. None of his punts were returned.

Stout (1-3, 0-1 WIAC) totaled 329 yards of offense, 253 in the air and 76 on the ground.
The 69 points allowed was the most by a Stout team.
Stout will be at UW-La Crosse, Saturday, Oct. 10, then will head to UW-Eau Claire, Saturday, Oct. 17.
