Stout continued their season trend of throwing the ball. Hank Kujak had his fourth 300-yard-game of the season, throwing for a total of 357 yards on 49 attempts. Kujak also recorded his second consecutive game in which he threw five touchdowns passes and ran for another for the Blue Devils.

The Falcons quickly responded in the second quarter on a four yard run from Tony Denn. The Falcons increased their lead in the second half with three straight scores, and ended the half up 34-28.

The second half was much slower. The Blue Devils found themselves down 47-28 with 9-minutes and 54-seconds left. To counter this, Kujak found the end zone on a seven yard run. The Falcons up 54-35 early in the fourth quarter, the Blue Devils scored on a 33-yard pass from Kujak to Jordan Dabney. Following this, Stout recovered an onside kick and scored once more on a one-yard pass from Hank Kujak to Reggie Kujak. This would bring the Blue Devils close, but they fell short 54-48.
