EAU CLAIRE (January 30, 2015) - UW-Stout matched 12th ranked UW-Eau Claire goal-for-goal until late in the second period and fell to the Blugolds, 5-3, Friday at Hobbs Ice Arena.

The Blugolds got things started midway through the first period on a goal by Brandon Wahlin. Three minutes later, the Blue Devils'
Jordan Tredinnick (Sr, Onalaska) tied the game with a power play goal.

The Blugolds took the lead back two minutes into the second period on a goal by Ethan Nauman. Three minutes later, the Blue Devils'
Craig Lindegard (So, Hallock, Minn) knotted the game again, with assists by Tredinnick and
Jordan Stejskal (Fr, Cohasset, Minn).

Eau Claire regained the lead at 5:46 of the second period on a goal by Jacob Wolter. For the third time in the evening, Stout tied the game, this time on a goal by
Matt Millis (Sr, Black River Falls) at 8:23 of the second stanza.

Nauman scored his second goal of the night late in the second period to give the Blugolds the lead heading into the second intermission. Eau Claire took a two goal lead on a Jason Eddy goal at 13:34 of the third period.
Stout's
Chase Hollander (So, Random Lake) stopped 33 shots. The Blue Devils put three goals past starter Jay Deo to chase him to the showers. Tyler Green wrapped up the game, not allowing a goal in 32 minutes played. Each Blue Devil goalie recorded 13 saves.
The teams will match up again, Saturday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m.
