MENOMONIE (September 17, 2014) - On a beautiful fall afternoon designed for outdoor activity, St. Thomas defaeted UW-Stout 9-0 in a non-conference contest on the UW-Stout courts Wednesday.
Stout's No. 1 team of
Angela Braun (Jr, Brookfield) and
Cortney Hallahan (Sr, Lester Prairie, Minn) fell to Kara Lefsrud and Bridget Noack, 8-4.
Emma Pedersen (So, Eau Claire) and
Anna Lano (Jr, Chaska, Minn) lost at No. 2 doubles, 8-3, and the No. 3 team of
Danielle Lutz (So, Maple Grove, Minn) and
Jenna Welke (Fr, Chippewa Falls) lost, 8-2.
Stout will be off until Saturday, Sept. 27 when they travel to Ripon College to face the Red Hawks and Alverno College.
