Blue Devils fall to Blugolds in early morning match

MENOMONIE (September 13, 2014) - With the first frost of the season on the pumpkin, UW-Stout fell to UW-Eau Claire, 9-0, in an early Saturday morning meet at the UW-Stout courts.

Danielle Lutz (So, Maple Grove, Minn) lost at No. 5 singles, 6-3, 6-1 to the Blugolds' Sarah Henderson. Emma Pedersen (So, Eau Claire) came back after getting blanked in the first set, 6-0, but fell in the second set, 6-3, at No. 3 singles. Jolene Ladewig (Fr, Merrill) lost at No. 6 singles, 6-2, 6-2.

Stout will host the Unviersity of St. Thomas, Wednesday, Sept. 17.
