UW-Eau Claire 3, UW-Stout 0EAU CLAIRE (October 29, 2014) - UW-Eau Claire came back from a first set deficit and went on to defeat UW-Stout, 25-20, 25-19, 25-20, Wednesday at Zorn Arena.
The Blue Devils (19-9, 3-4 WIAC) held as much as a five point lead in set one, only to see the Blugolds (16-15, 3-3 WIAC) come back and take the set.
Stout got 11 kills from both
Laura Reiter (Jr, Lino Lakes, Minn) and
Ashley Pratt (Fr, Lakeville, Minn).
Molly Brion (Jr, Cameron) finished with eight kills. Katrina Raskie led the Blugolds with 11 kills, and Kelly Reisgraf had eight kills with 10 block assists.
Stout will host UW-La Crosse, Friday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. in the final regular season home match of the season. The WIAC Volleyball Championship begins Tuesday, Nov. 4.
