Morgan Denny (Sr, Luck) put an end to the Eagle comeback by putting down two kills to close the match, giving the Blue Devils a 3-0 win Friday at Johnson Fieldhouse.

The Blue Devils (20-9, 4-4 WIAC) needed the win to stay in contention for a WIAC Championship playoff berth, and the Blue Devils are in the thick of determining the third through sixth seed. The 20 wins was the first time Stout has reached 20 wins since the 2004 season when Stout finished with 31 wins.
The Eagles (9-18, 1-7 WIAC) proved to be a feisty bird throughout the match, threatening in the second set. Stout went on to a 25-16, 25-21, 25-22 win for their 10th 3-0 win of the season.
Stout used six service aces, three by setter
Karley Wiensch (Sr, Chippewa Falls), to gain advantage. Stout has had four solo blocks and six block assists.
Molly Brion (Jr, Cameron) had nine kills and
Laura Reiter (Jr, Lino Lake, Minn) finished with eight kills for the Blue Devils. The Eagles were led by Sydney Bump's seven kills.
