Nationally ranked Warhawks need overtime to down Stout

WHITEWATER (October 18, 2014) - UW-Whitewater scored in the 102nd minute to edge past UW-Stout, 1-0, in a WIAC contest Saturday at Finske Field.

After a scoreless regulation period and a scoreless first overtime session, the Warhawks' Jordan Jackson headed a shot into the goal at 102:11 to close out the game, The Warhawks (14-2-0, 7-0-0 WIAC) came into the game ranked 16th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Top 25.

The Blue Devils' (3-8-3, 2-3-1 WIAC) Paige Meyer (Jr, Beldenville) recorded four saves in the contest. The Warhawks outshot Stout, 12-6. Whitewater's Jordan Myers made two saves.

Stout will host Gustavus Adolphus Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
