RIVER FALLS (August 30, 2013) - UW-Stout opened their 2013 season with a 9-0 loss to St. Norbert College Friday, Aug. 30 at the UW-River Falls courts.
The Blue Devils played the Green Knights relatively even in doubles competition, but could not keep up in singles.
Abby Cornelius (Jr, Golden Valley, Minn) and
Emily Grossen (Sr, Monroe) dropped an 8-6 decision at No. 1 doubles and
Molly Denney (Jr, Duluth, Minn) and
Annie Lindsay (Fr, Eau Claire) fell 8-4 at No. 2 doubles.
Stout opens WIAC play Saturday, Aug. 31 when they travel to UW-Eau Claire for a 10 a.m. contest.
