NORTHFIELD, Minn (April 24, 2012) - Carleton College scored three runs in the first inning of both ends of a doubleheader and went on to sweep UW-Stout, 7-2, 6-2, Tuesday at Knight Field.

In the second game, the Knights (8-25) again scored three runs in the first. Stout scored in the fourth inning when Gray, doubled, then came home on Hannah Sweet's (So, Elk River, Minn) double.

Carleton added three in the sixth, then Stout added a run when Lynzi Knudtson's (Fr, Melrose) bunt single brought home Jessica Behnke (So, Bruce) from third.

Stout will be at UW-Stevens Point, Saturday, April 28 and will host UW-La Crosse, Sunday, April 29.
