Tennis team loses to Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE (September 15, 2011) - UW-Stout lost all nine matches to UW-Eau Claire Thursday in a WIAC tennis match.

The Blugolds (3-2) sept all matches over the Blue Devils (1-4).

At No. 6 singles, Elizabeth Lehnertz (So, Cary, Ill) lost to Mary Frassetto, 6-2, 6-3, in the closest match. Abby Werwie (Jr, Kenosha) lost to Taylor Heltne at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-1. All three doubles teams lost by 8-1 scores.

Stout will be at UW-Whitewater, Saturday, Sept. 17 and at UW-Oshkosh, Sunday, Sept. 18.
