WINONA, Minn (April 30, 2011) -
Allie Hinman (Sr, Lino Lakes, MInn) closed out her UW-Stout career with a pair of wins at No. 1 singles today, defeating Kelly Van Handel of St. Norbert, 6-3, 6-4 and Abby Voigt of St.Mary's, 6-4, 6-4. Stout lost by identical 7-2 scores Saturday to St. Norbert College and St. Mary's University.
Hinman will leave the Stout program with the most wins in singles history, finishing with a 63-23 record, all coming at No. 1 singles.
Abby Werwie (So, Kenosha) took a win at No. 2 singles, 7-5, 3-6, 10-8 win over St. Mary's Andrea Allis.
Katie Sorensen (So, Neenah) won at No. 3 singles over Callie Schroeder of St. Mary's, 3-6, 6-1, 10-5
