SUPERIOR (April 29, 2011) - After getting blanked in the first game, UW-Stout came back to grab a lead in the second game, but the result was the same as the Blue Devil dropped a pair of conference games to UW-Superior Friday.
The Yellowjackets (20-10, 7-7) scored four runs in the fourth inning of the first game on their way to an 8-run rule shortened 8-0 win. Stout (15-19, 2-10) tallied three runs in the fourth inning of the second game to take a 4-3 lead, but the Yellowjackets returned the favor with five runs in the bottom half of the inning and went on to record the sweep with an 8-4 victory.
Stout was scheduled to host UW-Whitewater, Saturday, April 30 but that game has been postponed to Monday, May 2 at 1 p.m. Stout is scheduled to host UW-Oshkosh, Sunday, May 1 at 1 p.m.
