MENOMONIE (November 4, 2011) - Kevin O'Donnell (So, Stoughton) scored with 47 seconds left in the game to give UW-Stout a 2-1 win over Concordia-Moorhead Friday at the Dunn County Ice Arena.

All of the scoring came in the final period as both goalies pitched shutouts until the Blue Devils (4-1-0) broke onto the board when Jordan Treddinick (Fr, Onalaska) scored two minutes, 30 seconds into the final stanza, getting an assist by Scott Bell (Fr, Eagan, Minn).

The Cobbers (2-1-0) answered back later in the period when John Orrico got the equalizer at 11:31.

The game appeared to be heading to overtime until the Cobbers were called for a holding penalty with just over a minute left in regulation and it took O'Donnell and Company only 18 seconds to score the goal.

Assists on the goal went to Treddinick and Branden Gay (Sr, Calgary, Alberta).

The Blue Devils shelled Concordia goalie Kelly Andrews with 41 shots, and Andrews turned away 39. Stout's Tom Lescovich (Jr, Clifton Park, NY) turned back 20 shots.

Stout will host St. John's University, Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the sixth game of a season opening homestand.
