UW-River Falls 6, UW-Stout 3
RIVER FALLS (September 29, 2010) -
Abby Werwie (So, Kenosha) picked up a singles win and partnered with
Allie Hinman (Sr, Lino Lakes, Minn) for a doubles win as UW-Stout was defeated at UW-River Falls Wednesday.
Werwie won at No. 2 singles with a 6-3, 6-0, win over Amanda Drangeid. Werwie and Hinman won at No. 1 doubles, 8-1.
Samantha Kletscher (Fr, Brainerd, Minn) was Stout's other win, coming back for a 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 win over Amy Johnson at No. 3 singles.
Stephanie Schick (Jr, Altoona) lost a 7-5, 1-6, 7-5, decision at No. 4 singles to Cassie Swenson.
Stout will travel to Decorah, Iowa, Saturday, Oct. 2 to face Luther College and Central College.
