MENOMONIE (September 16, 2010) - UW-Stout opened the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) season with a loss to UW-Eau Claire Thursday.
Allie Hinman (Sr, Lino Lakes, Minn) picked up Stout's only victory in the 8-1 loss, defeating Megan Born, 6-3, 6-1, to stay undefeated on the season at No. 1 singles.

Abby Werwie (So, Kenosha) lost at No. 1 doubles, 8-5, to Born and Emily Hiebl. Werwie took the first set win at No. 2 singles, but fell to Taylor Heltne, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1.
Stout will be at UW-Stevens Point Saturday, Sept. 18.
