Blue Devils close out regular season at La Crosse

LA CROSSE (October 16, 2010) - The UW-Stout tennis team closed out their regular season with an 8-1 loss at UW-La Crosse Saturday.

The Blue Devils' Allie Hinman (Sr, Lino Lakes, Minn) and Abby Werwie (So, Kenosha) picked up Stout's lone win at No. 1 doubles, defeating Kelly Kuether and Kelly Stadum, 8-6.

Hinman lost to Stadum, 6-2, 6-4, at No. 1 singles and Werwie lost to Kuether at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-0.

Stout will close the season when they compete at the WIAC tennis championships, Oct. 23-24 on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison.
