MENOMONIE (January 29, 2010) - UW-Superior had an answer for every UW-Stout goal as the two teams tied, 3-3, Friday at the Dunn County Ice Arena.

The Yellowjackets (8-9-3, 2-9-2) never led in the game, but also never trailed by more than one goal. And Superior sent the game into overtime with a goal by Thomas Erlacher with one-minute, 30-seconds left in regulation.

Stout (9-7-4, 6-3-4) opened the score with three minutes left in the first period on a goal by Scott Motz (Sr, Lake Elmo, Minn) and an assist by Joel Gaulrapp (Sr, Owatonna, Minn).

The Yellowjackets tied the score midway through the second period on a power play goal by Talon Berlando. Stout jumped back ahead with a goal by Branden Gay (Jr, Calgary, Alberta) less than a minute later.

Superior knotted the game for the second time with a goal by Tyler Fletcher six minutes into the third period. Stout took what looked like the game winner when Danny Ryan, Jr. (Jr, Niles, Ill) scored with less than five minutes remaining. In less than three minutes later, the Yellowjackets tied the game.

Stout's Tom Lescovich (Fr, Clifton Park, NY) recorded 29 saves, while Superior's Bryan Dalbec had 37 saves.

Stout will host St. Scholastica, Saturday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m.
