WHITEWATER (September 11, 2009) - UW-Whitewater took all nine matches Friday as UW-Stout and the Warhawks both opened the conference season.
Abby Werwie (Fr, Kenosha) had the closest match of the evening, falling to Ingrid Stensvaag, 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
Werwie and
Allie Hinman (Jr, Lino Lakes, Minn) lost at No. 1 doubles, 8-3.
Stout (2-2) will stay in Whitewater and will be at the Warhawk Invitational, Saturday, Sept. 12. The Blue Devils travel to Beloit College Sunday, Sept. 13 where they will play the host Buccaneers and Loras College.
