Making his second and third collegiate starts, Tyler Masternak recorded two wins last week in goal, a 3-1 win over Northland College, Nov. 18 and a 4-2 win over UW-Eau Claire, Nov. 20, to give Stout a 2-0-0 conference record. Masternak allowed one goal against Northland, that goal, a power play goal, came midway through the first period, then kept the Lumberjacks scoreless the rest of the way as Stout scored three goals in the final six minutes of the game. Masternak recorded 15 saves in the first period, 11 in the second and nine in the third to tally 35 saves. Against Eau Claire, Stout took a 2-0 lead, but tied the score with two goals in the second period. Masternak kept Eau Claire off the board the remainder of the game as Stout scored two goals in the third period for their second conference win of the season. Masternak recorded 24 saves, five in the first, nine in the second and 10 in the third. For the week, Masternak turned away 59 shots, allowed three goals and one power play goal, posting a .952 saves percentage. In three starts this season, Masternak is 2-1-0, with a 2.02 GAA, allowing six goals, and has a .935 saves percentage.
