Sheridan Dettman joined University of Wisconsin-Stout Volleyball team in July 2024 

2024: The Blue Devils went 13-13 in 2024 and qualified for the WIAC Tournament for the first time since the 2018 season. The Blue Devils were 33rd in the nation with 2.03 blocks per set. Brooke McCune was 36th in the nation and third in the WIAC with 3.90 kills per set. She hit .240 on the season and is fifth in the WIAC in overall points with (99.5 and 3.83 points per set. 19 times she recorded double-digit kills and five times totaled 20or more. She tied a school record with 28 kills in a win over UWL. She was named WIAC Attacker of the Week on Oct. 22. Terrah Moshier was named to the WIAC all-defensive team for the second straight season. She averaged a career-high 4.76 digs a set. Which was third in the WIAC. She recorded double-digit digs in 24 matches and totaled 20+ digs eight times. She was named the WIAC's Defender of the Week on Sept. 10. Emma Barton was 24th in the nation in blocks per set and third in the WIAC with 1.13. She totaled five or more blocks eight times with a career-high nine against No. 7 UW-Oshkosh.
 

PLAYING CAREER



Dettmann played collegiately at UW-Eau Claire, where she was a member of the 2021 national championship team. Dettmann and the Blugolds won the WIAC regular season and tournament championships in the 2021 season and made three national tournament appearances (2019, 2021, 20220). The defensive specialist totaled 1600 digs over her career which is fifth all-time in the Blugold record books and 122 service aces (20th all-time).

As a senior, she ranked third in the WIAC in total digs (537) and digs per set (4.55) and was named honorable mention All-WIAC as well as to the All-WIAC Defensive Team. As a junior, she was third in the WIAC in digs per set (4.59) and totaled 37 service aces and was named to the All-WIAC Defensive Team.
 

PERSONAL



The Watertown, Wis. native received her bachelor's degree in exercise science from UW-Eau Claire in 2023.
