Jenney Larson works with the UW-Stout throwers and began as an assistant coach with the Blue Devils with the 2011 season.

Larson, competing as Jenney Luer, earned the 2002 NCAA Division III outdoor discus title while competing for UW-Stout.  Larson currently holds the school record for the discus (175-1) and has the second-best outdoor shot put mark (46-10). She also currently holds the indoor shot put mark (46-8).

In 2002, Larson won the WIAC discus title and was was runner up in the shot put.  At the national outdoor championships that season, Larson earned All-America honors in the shot put, placing seventh.

During the 2002 indoor season, Larson was third at the NCAA Division III Championships in the shot put, and was runner-up at the WIAC indoor championships. Throughout the 2002 indoor season, Larson set the school shot put mark four times.

During the 2001 seasons, Larson advanced to the NCAA Division III outdoor championships in the discus and shot put and provisionally qualified to the indoor championships. Larson was second in the shot put during the WIAC indoor championships.

Previous to coaching at UW-Stout, Larson worked with the throwers for the Menomonie High School track and field teams.
