Austin Zett

With the 2016 season, Austin Zett begins his first season as a Blue Devil assistant coach, following an All-American career at UW-Stout.

A UW-Stout team captain during the 2015 season, Zett earned All-America honors when he placed second at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship in the discus with a school record toss of 185-2. During the season, Zett three times advanced the school discus record, including when he earned the WIAC discus title. Zett was the team field athlete of the year.

Zett earned his first All-America honors when he placed fifth at the 2014 NCAA Division III Championship in the discus. Zett also qualfied to the national outdoor meet during the 2012 season.

A native of Presque Island, Wis., Zett was a 10-time all-conference selection in football, basketball and track & field at Lakeland High School. Zett is pursuing his bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management.
