Sarah Dickmann

After a four-year career with the Blue Devils, Sarah Dickmann began her first season as a UW-Stout assistant coach in 2020.

Dickmann has been a team leader for the Blue Devils and served as a team captain in 2019. A UW-Stout Scholar-Athlete, Dickmann started and played at either defense or midfield throughout her career and in 2019 scored her first goal of the season in the season finale, the eventual game-winning goal against UM-Morris.

A dietetics major, Dickmann is a member of the Wisconsin Air National Guard. A senior airman and medic, Dickmann is attached to the 128th Air Refueling Wing from Milwaukee. Last spring when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Dickmann was called to active duty and was stationed in Madison, providing support in communities around the state where needed because of the coronavirus. Her duties include temperature checks, nasal swabs and monitoring patients for symptoms.


2019: team captain...UW-Stout Scholar-Athlete...played and started 16 games...scored first goal, which was also the game-winner, in 2-0 win over UM-Morris...2018: played 13 games, started 12...2017: started all 18 games...third on team in goals...tied game with Stout's first goal of the game in 19th minute in eventual 2-1 win over UW-Eau Claire...scored penalty kick goals against Mt. St. Mary and UW-Superior...2016: started all 19 games...scored three assists, one each in back-to-back home wins over Benedictine, Sept. 10, and UW-Superior, Sept. 13...tied for team lead in assists...High School: three-time team MVP, sophomore, junior, senior seasons...three-time first team all-conference...two-time all-area honorable mention...team was conference runner-up sophomore year, finished third freshman and junior years...won regional title senior season...Personal: Parents: Polly and John Dickmann
