Ryan Raufus became the fourth head coach of the Blue Devil Women’s Soccer team in February 2011. He is the programs all-time winningest coach with a 78-130-27 (.389) record.
UW-STOUT (2011-2024)
Raufus has coached 26 All-WIAC selections, two all-region honorees and an All-American.
In the classroom, Raufus has coached 249 WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll students, 16 CSC Academic All-District selections and an Academic All-American
2024: Stout had two All-WIAC selections, Kayla White a freshman earned first-team honors and Ella Kemp a junior was named honorable mention.
2023: The Blue Devils finished the season with a 5-11-2 record. Hailey Kane was named first-team All WIAC. After playing at defense all season, Kane made a position change and played on attack the last four matches of the season. She made an immediate impact scoring six goals on 10 shots on target. She recorded her first career hat-trick in a 4-2 road win over UW-Whitewater on Oct. 21. She was instrumental in all four goals, with three goals and an assist on four shots on goal to lift the Blue Devils to their first win over UW-Whitewater since 2011. Hannah Hagman was named All-WIAC Honorable Mention
2022: Stout had two All-WIAC selections. Caylee Boone led the Blue Devils in scoring in 2022, totaling five goals and an assist for 11 points. She had 19 total shots in 1005 minutes played. Marissa Steele scored two goals and added two helpers for six points. She had 32 shots attempts in 1313 minutes on the pitch.
2021: After 1050 days, the Blue Devils were finally able to play a home game on the re-surfaced Nelson Field. Junior forward Marissa Steele was an all-region selection and freshman Hailey Kane joined Steele on the All-WIAC team.
2020: Season canceled due to COVID-19
2019: The 2019 Blue Devils were road warriors the entire season as work on the newly renovated Nelson field continued, including "home" games at nearby opponents' fields. And the Blue Devils more than doubled their wins total from the year before in the process.
2018: Blue Devil midfielder Sydney Kasper highlighted the season, earning her third consecutive all-WIAC nod.
2017: The Blue Devils earned the fourth seed in the 2017 WIAC tournament and advanced to the second round of the tournament where they fell to eventual conference champion UW-La Crosse. The Blue Devils' Sydney Kasper and Kaitlyn Hess were first team all-conference picks. Kasper earned third-team all-region honors.
2016: The Blue Devils earned the fourth seed in the WIAC tournament, powered by first team all-WIAC selections Jenna Kizlik, Kelly Conn and Lynn Johnson. Kizlik is only the second Blue Devil to earn three first team all-WIAC selections.
2015: Jenna Kizlik and Vanessa Wrobel received first-team all-WIAC honors.
2014: The Blue Devil defense racked up five shutouts and allowed no teams to score more than three goals. Seven of the Blue Devils' games were decided by one goal or three games ended in a tied score. Four games went into overtime. Jenna Kizlik and Lauren Kizlik were repeat all-WIAC selections. Defender Vanessa Wrobel was an all-WIAC pick.
2013: The Blue Devils overcame early season injuries and illnesses to finish third in a tough WIAC. Stout placed four on the all-WIAC team - Jenna Kizlik, Lauren Kizlik, Emily Ferger, Paige Meyer - matching a program best and advanced to the second round of the WIAC playoffs.
2012: The Blue Devils went 6-10-2 in 2012. The Blue Devils scored the second most goals in program history with a 13-0 win over Finlandia.
2011: In Raufus' first season, the Blue Devils posted an 11-5-1 record, ran a nine-game unbeaten streak through the middle of the schedule, advanced to the WIAC tournament for the first time in two years, were regionally ranked, had three players chosen all-conference, had two players chosen all-region and defender Courtney Tideman was selected as the program's first-ever All-American.
BEFORE UW-STOUT
LaCressent High School (2004-10) Raufus’ teams have compiled a 121-23-5 overall record and made five trips to the Minnesota state tournament, including a fourth-place finish in 2009.
La Crosse Logan High School (2002-10) The program made significant strides, including the only two winning seasons and playoff wins in school history.

An Oconomowoc, Wis. native, Raufus earned his bachelor’s degree from Springfield College in athletics training in 1999 and his master’s degree in physical education in 2010 from UW-La Crosse
