Meagan Frank

With the 2010 season, Meagan Frank begins her fifth year as the Blue Devil women's soccer head coach.

Frank, who took over at Stout less than a month before the 2006 preseason started, played and coached at NCAA Division I Colorado College, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

"I am really excited about the opportunities we have here," Frank said. "We hope to build on the positive things accomplished over the last several seasons."

Frank was an offensive center midfielder for the Tigers from 1993-96 and is currently 12th on the Colorado College career scoring list with 50 points on 18 goals and 14 assists. She is currently 12th on the all-time goals list and 10th in assists. A two-time all-academic team member, Frank was a team captain in 1996, her senior year, and was also the team's most valuable player.

Frank was a volunteer assistant coach for the Tigers in 1999. She has coached several youth soccer teams in Englewood, Colo., including the Colorado Storm U-17 premier team, and the Cherry Creek Lightning U-16 premier team. She was an assistant coach at Harrison High School in Colorado Springs, Colo.

"I am looking forward to motivate them and bring them to the level as high as they can go," Frank said. "I want to keep them focused, driven and unified as a team."

As a youth player, Frank was a team member of the Colorado Olympic Development team.

Frank earned her undergraduate degree in English and taught English for three years at Cheyenne Mountain High School.

She currently lives in Woodbury, Minn., with her husband, Paul, and their three children, Nate, Haley and Kiana.
