UW-STOUT (2017-Present)
Sanderson joined the Blue Devils Women’s team as an assistant in August 2017.
2025: The UW-Stout women's soccer team finished the season with a 7-9-4 overall record while making significant strides on the offensive end of the field. After scoring just five goals the previous season, the Blue Devils exploded for 28 goals in 2025 and more than doubled their offensive opportunities, recording 308 shots and 147 shots on goal compared to 136 shots and 66 shots on goal a year earlier. Stout's seven victories included five clean sheets. The Blue Devils were recognized with three All-WIAC selections. Tessa Pagel and Kayla White earned First-Team All-WIAC honors, while Anna Odisho received Honorable Mention recognition. White capped her standout sophomore campaign by earning United Soccer Coaches Division III All-Region IX Fourth Team honors, becoming the first Blue Devil to receive All-Region recognition since 2021. She led the team with six goals and three game-winning goals while finishing with 13 points.
2024: Stout had two All-WIAC selections, Kayla White a freshman earned first-team honors and Ella Kemp a junior was named honorable mention.
2023: The Blue Devils finished the season with a 5-11-2 record. Hailey Kane was named first-team All WIAC. After playing at defense all season, Kane made a position change and played on attack the last four matches of the season. She made an immediate impact scoring six goals on 10 shots on target. She recorded her first career hat-trick in a 4-2 road win over UW-Whitewater on Oct. 21. She was instrumental in all four goals, with three goals and an assist on four shots on goal to lift the Blue Devils to their first win over UW-Whitewater since 2011. Hannah Hagman was named All-WIAC Honorable Mention
2022: Stout had two All-WIAC selections. Caylee Boone led the Blue Devils in scoring in 2022, totaling five goals and an assist for 11 points. She had 19 total shots in 1005 minutes played. Marissa Steele scored two goals and added two helpers for six points. She had 32 shots attempts in 1313 minutes on the pitch.
2021: After 1050 days, the Blue Devils were finally able to play a home game on the re-surfaced Nelson Field. Junior forward Marissa Steele was an all-region selection and freshman Hailey Kane joined Steele on the All-WIAC team.
2020: Season canceled due to COVID-19
2019: The 2019 Blue Devils were road warriors the entire season as work on the newly renovated Nelson field continued, including "home" games at nearby opponents' fields. And the Blue Devils more than doubled their wins total from the year before in the process.
2018: Blue Devil midfielder Sydney Kasper highlighted the season, earning her third consecutive all-WIAC nod.
2017: The Blue Devils earned the fourth seed in the 2017 WIAC tournament and advanced to the second round of the tournament where they fell to eventual conference champion UW-La Crosse. The Blue Devils' Sydney Kasper and Kaitlyn Hess were first team all-conference picks. Kasper earned third-team all-region honors.

PERSONAL
Sanderson earned his bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University in Biology in 2005 and his master’s degree in Sports Studies in 2009 from Bemidji State University. Sanderson currently works with the Salvo Soccer Club and holds a USSF B License, a USYS National Youth License, and a NSCAA Level 3 Goalkeeping Diploma. He is also an instructor in the UW-Stout Kinesiology, Health, Food and Nutritional Science Department.
