More About Liz Peters
Why did you choose UW-Stout? - Was asked to look into gymnastics and they have an amazing ECE program. Plus I love the small town feel
Something you may not know about me.. - I love taking pictures!
Started gymnastics at age.. - 6 or 7? I can't remember
What is your nickname? - Liz, Peters...I'm kinda boring
My favorite sporting event, other than UW-Stout gymnastics.. - Chicago Blackhawks Hockey
My favorite food.. - Steak, Mac n' Cheese, Pasta, corn on the cob
If I were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would I take with me? - Camera, Chocolate and Sunscreen
My favorite gymnasts are.. - Keri Strug and Ashley Nelson
My most funny, memorable Stout gymnastics story.. - First Meet I competed at University of Iowa. I NAILED the dismount...Didn't take my grips off for at least 20 minutes, wanted the moment to last forever!!
Community Service/Volunteer Activities: I am on the Colleges Aganst Cancer executive Board and have been a Relay for Life team captain for 4 years now. With the gymnastics team I have participated in volunteer run/walks, campus clean up, Habitat for Humanity and Feed my Starving Children
This offseason, I worked on.. - Making money to live off campus as an adult and lots of physical therapy.
I look up to.. - My parents and all the student athletes who have come before me. It is hard to balance my education and the sport so I just think if they could do it so can I!
