More about Cora Bagoli

Why did you choose UW-Stout?: I want to continue my gymnastics career and advance to the furthest of my abilities and do so until my body can't take gymnastics anymore!

Something you may not know about me: I'm a crazy, loud Romanian. I am also the first in my family born in America. (Nashville, TN). I used to cry when people had ketchup around me because I hated the smell so much.

Started gymnastics at age: 2

What is your nickname?: Holy Bagoli

My favorite sporting event, other than UW-Stout gymnastics: University of Tennessee football games.

My favorite food: TOSTADAS! and Indian pitas.

If I were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would I take with me? Mancala, teammate Maddy Sevilla, and Christian Grey.

My favorite gymnasts are: Andrea Raducan, my mom, Alicia Sacramone, Elena Produnova

My most funny, memorable Stout gymnastics story: Whenever my teammates are learning new skills, I always think I can do it. A teammate of mine was scared to do a pike jump on the beam from side instead of cross, so I jumped up there thinking I was all that. I jumped up confidently and basically missed my feet and busted butt, landing flat on the floor... all caught on Tivo!
Since at Stout...I am remembered for my Drag Queen routine that I dressed up for and performed perfectly on floor.

Community Service/Volunteer Activities: Pinky Power, Habitat for Humanity, Volunteering at two 5k runs, Helping Hands, Cleaning Radnor Lake...many many hours

This offseason, I worked on: fixing my double fulls on floor and I let my knees and hips rest.

I look up to: My mom because she's a great inspiration for many people.
