Jeremy Manthey begins his seventh year as an assistant coach with the Blue Devils, starting with the Blue Devils for the 2006-07 season.
Manthey, who hails from Adams-Friendship, has worked nine seasons at the illustrious Camp Owens Gymnastics camp in northern Wisconsin. Manthey has been coaching gymnastics since 2000, and got his start at the South Wood County YMCA.
Over the years, Manthey, who was named the 2009 NACGC/W Division III West Region assistant coach of the year, has worked with such well-known gymnasts as John Rothlisberger, John McReady, Jaycie Phelps, Terrin Humpfrey, Morgan White and Brett McLure. Manthey, who works primarily with the vault and uneven bars, has been a guest clinician at Flip Fest Camp in Tennessee, at the Hamline University camps and the Gustavus Adolphus camps.
During the 2011-12 season, Manthey worked with Flip Fest in Knoxville, Tenn., as the Gym Director and Public Relations Director, but continued to work with the UW-Stout program.
Manthey, a former UW-Stout student, has been a member of the UW-Stout Cheer and Stunt squad and was a coach for the team.
